From the pages of my notebooks - Ideas that got the chop.

I made films for all these but for one reason or another I never printed them. Kinda sorry I didn’t now.

This image is something I came up with a long time ago. I replaced the heads of everyone at Liza Minelli’s wedding with my head. Why? I have absolutely no idea. I think it was part of some grand comment of the cult of celebrity but really it just makes me smile.

As I said Before I do anything I draw it out first:

The drawings are, at least to me, interesting when I work on logos as they are almost binary in their on/off approach. They are quite different from my drawings for the sake of drawing.

Before I do anything I draw. These are the original lost causes and ideas that are culled. I’ll post some more over the next few days.

I had an idea about combining people. My first idea was Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Newcastle United’s Obefemi Martens combined as Chris Obefemi Martins. As nobody would know who these were from their images alone I decided to change tack.
