From the pages of my notebooks - Ideas that got the chop.

My son Naoise was born today. Here are some clouds.  

This is a drawing I originally did for Ciara. It is the single room in our last house outside of the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I thought it would be nice to have this image at work and when things got bad to disappear home for even a few seconds.

This image is from my old house and was taken when we got our blinds put in on a stunningly sunny day. I just thought it was a nice first proper post the way it holds back the light like a dam holds back water, just waiting to burst open.

Let’s be clear on this. This is not a blog. I cannot abide by either the unverified hearsay that passes for bloggers’ journalism or the lists of links to other people (designers usually) who’s work is considered interesting enough to be linked with the blog owner.

Just because you put up a link to someone who is producing nice work, saying something interesting or pushing the proverbial envelope in some other way does not give you credit for their work in any way. Do not bask in someone else’s glory!

However there are those that put out regularly updated thoughtful work across many spectra of human interaction. My work will pale in comparison to many, but sure now that you are here you might as well look around.
